I am also a generalist and I see clients in my practice who struggle with a diversity of other concerns, including mild to moderate drug and alcohol misuse, sexual assault and abuse, relationship issues, transition difficulties, career development, workplace harassment, AIDS and HIV related issues, depression and anxiety.
I have worked in a variety of capacities in both the public and private sectors, including having been Clinical Director of Sheena’s Place; Clinical Counsellor for Ryerson University, the Fraser South Eating Disorder Program and the Dr. Peter Centre for People with AIDS; and the Director of the Eating Disorder Resource Centre of British Columbia.
I am a member of the Eating Disorder Association of Canada (#2089) and I am a registered member of both the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (#2305) and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (#825039).
While I am located in downtown Toronto, Ontario, I also see clients across North America via Skype.
My office hours are typically from 8 am until 5 pm, Monday through Thursday (I generally keep Fridays for consultations, assessments, professional development, and emergency sessions).
As many individuals are concerned about their privacy, I book my clients with enough time in between sessions such that they do not cross paths. Confidentiality is critical to many of the people that I work with.
